Message from the Bursar:

I feel honoured to be a part of this college, where learning is closely linked with integrity, commitment and modesty. The prime goal of the college is to give quality education to the students wIth the focus on sound academic growth and development of moral principles.

Our students are our cherished assets. These students are coming from different communities and religions. The College fraternity caters to the needs of quality education for the students and social welfare at large. In all, the College shall be an arena of character building, personality development, knowledge sharing and skill development. Education imparted in this college shall usher in a total development of professionalism of students and help them become successful in life so that they may contribute positively to the development of the nation.

As a bursar of the college, I have observed, it is Umeschandra College which charges minimum amount of tution and other fees in comparison to other colleges in Kolkata vis-a-vis it provides a quality teaching and facilities for extra-cuurricular activities to the students.

Our college building has no gorgeous looks but it is a heritage one. It is the one of the oldest commerce colleges of West Bengal. Students come from different states of our country for getting admission to our college. Our ex-studets are placed in a very respectable position and scattered around all over the country. My vision is that, our present students are future Entrepreneurs, which is the need of the day.
