The SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and Equal Opportunity Cell Committee of Umesh Chandra College has been engaged in activities and initiatives aimed at promoting inclusivity, eliminating discrimination, and ensuring equal access to educational opportunities.
- One notable event organized by the committee during the reporting period was an awareness program on the topic: "Impact of Equal Rights on Education and Employment ."
- The committee organized an awareness programme that brought together students, faculty, and experts in the field to discuss the critical issue of equal rights in education and employment.
- The committee also arranged a programme for creating awareness among the marginalized communities on “Invited lecture on creating awareness”. The guest provide his valuable lecture. This event is designed to create awareness individuals from marginalized communities.
- The committee continued to offer support services to students and staff, including counseling and guidance, to address any academic or personal challenges faced by individuals from marginalized communities.
