Extended Campus

The Extended Campus of Umeschandra College at Salt lake is a two-storied building situated upon a sprawling, extremely spacious land. The ground is covered with lush greenery which attracts the eye. Classes start here at 7:00am.

College Library

The Extended Campus at Saltlake can boast about a pretty big library with quite a huge collection of books and journals. Syllabus oriented text books are also provided from the library for both the teachers as well as the students. The students can use the books of the library for their academic purposes and for any kind of reference work, which may be required.The library remains open till 1:00pm for the benefit of both the teachers as well as the students.

Computer Lab and IT Facilities

The college has computers and a few general printers. WIFI facility is available within the college premises including the Computer Lab, Library and the Staff Room. We also have CCTV facilities within the Principal’s Room and within the Staff Room and in the entire college premises where ever it is required.

The CMS-based Website of the college is maintained with secured encrypted connections, and it is updated mostly on a regular basis.

G-Suite Platform

This facility is used by the college to conduct online classes, internal examinations, etc. G-Suite administrators provide round-the-clock assistance, security and administrative control, and other services like virtual meetings.

Online Admission

The college website gives access to the Student’s information, Fees collection, Feedback system, Helpline system, etc.

Collection of Fees from Students

Students pay their fees online using gateway Razor-Pay, which accepts net-banking, credit card, debit card, UPI, etc.

Online Examination

This platform is utilised for uploading of question papers, answer-sheet submission by the students, checking of the papers, marks entry, etc.

Common Room

Separate Common Rooms are provided for the male and female students at the Saltlake Campus. The rooms are large enough and they provide indoor games facilities.

College Canteen

The Extended Campus has a very nice canteen to cater to the requirements of both the teachers as well as the students. So, early in the morning, when practically no food is available outside the campus, our canteen comes to our rescue. The canteen provides us with good food which is prepared hygienically and the cost is pretty pocket-friendly and the quality is not compromised because of the reasonable cost. Our Honourable Principal is cautious enough to keep a random check on the quality of food and the prices. This is done on practically a regular basis, in order to make food affordable at a reasonable rate for both the teachers as well as the students.
