The Central Library, Umeschandra College in collaboration with IQAC, Umeschandra College organized Two Day International Webinar on ROLE OF COLLEGE LIBRARIES IN VIRTUAL LEARNING ECOSYSTEM on 18-19 September, 2020.

Umeschandra College Main Campus Library in collaboration with IQAC, Umeschandra College organized an International Symposium on ‘Open Education Resources used in Acadmic Library’ on 24th June 2022.

Umeschandra College Library, Main Campus, Kolkata organized a Book Exhibition on Rabindranath Tagore on 10th May 2023 to celebrate the 162nd birth anniversary of Kaviguru.

Umeschandra College signed MOU jointly with 12 colleges in West Bengal for sharing Library resources on 10th July 2023 at Lalbaba College, Belur.

Every year UCC Library celebrates the ‘Librarians' Day’ on the occasion of the birthday of S.R. Ranganathan (Father of Library Science). On that day, Students are given ‘Best Library User’ award to motivate them for using the Library and its services. It has been started since 2017.

The ‘Puja Sankhya (Magazine) Lottery’ programme held among the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members every year in College Library before the Puja vacation.
