Message from Secretary, Teachers’ Council

With technical outlook, our college pursues strengthened spirit of openness for global arena. It inculcates optimistic academic environment for every learner. Our students are our dreams and we aim to foster their progress not only in the academic arena but also to ensure the overall development of the students. The right knowledge is imparted to the students and they are prepared to face the challenges of the future. The faculty members take every care to help the students in the interactive classrooms. Their methods of teaching are innovative, dynamic and flexible so as to make the process of learning interesting, purposeful and enriching. Annual Sports and Cultural meets as well as the Prize Distribution ceremonies are integral part of our college. We also aim to develop a positive environment which is highly conducive to the process of learning. Keeping these objectives in mind, we have a dedicated Teachers’ Council following Government guidelines under the supervision of a senior teacher usually unanimously elected for a term of two years.

Teachers’ Council of our college is an active representative body of all teachers of the College which strives collectively for all-round academic excellence of the College. It is a blend of experienced senior faculty members and young dynamic junior faculties which brings innovative ideas and dynamism in the operation of the college. The Teachers' Council meets at fairly regular intervals (Presided by the Principal) and various issues are sorted out with a thorough discussion so as to ensure smooth functioning of the college.It assists the Principal in governance and smooth-functioning of the college and upholding the welfare of the institution. The council also advises the college authorities in planning, organizing and executing different academic duties including students’ welfare and discipline, arrangement of timetable, conduct of examinations (including University Examination), improvement of the library, laboratories and teaching facilities in the college. It maintains and promotes a close and healthy relationship among different stakeholders and works hand in hand with the college Governing Body to shape up the vision & mission of this great institution. It is the regulator of the teaching profession and promotes professional standards in teaching. I assure that your exploration for knowledge in commerce will absolutely find its satisfaction here and studying here will provide you a luminous forum for the days to come as the council has been achieving milestones together and are actively contributing towards waving our College banner in the sky.
